Camus UK 2K18 :Récit d’élèves J3

Today, day 3,
We started in the morning with the visit of Cambridge.
The guide showed us many renowned Colleges such as Queens College and its mathematic Bridge, king’s College and Trinity College.
Moreover, we visited Saint John’s college and especially its beautiful chapel.
Then, we had two hours of free time to eat and go shopping.
To finish this daytime, we did punting on the Cam, Cambridge River.

Today we went to Cambridge to visit the city with a guide. We began with the story of the city. The weather wasn’t good, it was raining. We saw a lot of colleges like queens college, kings college, and we visited George college. Then, we went to commercial center, Grand Arcade, to eat and to do shopping. We spent 2 hours there. At 3:00pm we went punting. But before we waited and we took pictures in the sun. We made groups of 12 people in each boats. During the tour the woman who was punting, she told us the story of Cambridge and colleges. Few moments later, there were ducks in the river Cam. We hit walls and boats more than once, it was really funny. We also said « hi » to people we crossed and they answered us back. Morgane was attacked by a spider and she threw it on me, we screamed like crazy and everybody including the putter laughed. Then it rained when we were on the returning. After the putting We went back to the commercial center to pee. To finish we went back to the bus. This evening we will go to the bowling with our host family and we will eat pizza, because they are the best host family. The end.

Today, we went to Cambridge to visit the city with a guide. We began with the story of the city. We saw lot of colleges (Queens College, Kings College) And we visited George College. Then, we went to the commercial center, Grand Arcade to eat and do shopping ; we spent two hours there. At 3:00 pm, we went punting but before, we waited on a bridge so we took advantage to take some pictures with my friends under the sun. After that, we made groups of 12 people in each boats. During the rumble, the woman who was punting told us the story of Cambridge. Few minutes later, there were ducks in the River Cam, and we hit walls and others boats more than once, it was funny. We also said “Hi” with our hands to people we crossed and they answered us by the same gesture. Emilie and Morgane were attacked by a spider and they screamed, it was so funny, everybody laughed because Morgane threw this spider on Emilie. Then, it rained when we were returning to the land. We went back to the commercial centre to pee. To finish, we went back to the bus. This evening, we will go to bowling with our host family and eat pizzas (because we have the best host family).

Today, we are Tuesday, 27 March.
The program is a visit of the St John’s college with 2h of free time the morning and 1h of punting the afternoon.
First, Cambridge is most famous for this university because there is private lessons and it’s extremely well-known.
There is a another university, this name is Oxford and it is very famous too in the UK.
Moreover, we saw Trinity college, it was beautiful and it’s Henri VIII who founded this.
We have seen the place in John’s college where Newton had lived.
This college is founded by Lady Margerite but this strange because many women were refused the right to studies for centuries.
After, wevisited the chapel.
Saint John’s college has the hightest gardens.
Then, we have seen the front of the King’s college and the chapel of Henri VI. You have to know, the students are proud of this college and there are many university in Cambridge.
To finish with, in the afternoon, we did a punting. It was very cool despite the rain.

Wednesday , march 27th

Today, we visited Cambridge in the morning with its colleges they were founded by King Henry 8 we saw many things like the library or the cathedral...
This afternoon we visited the city with a guide in a punt it was very interesting and we have learned many things too .
